& Wellness program, applying scientific expertise in both
biotechnology and botanical isolates to develop a new, proprietary
complex flavour system that further contributes to the development
of consumer-winning products. With enhanced capabilities in
TasteEssentials™ for Salt Reduction, Givaudan can help food
manufacturers significantly improve the taste profile of foods
that are reduced in sodium. Our new flavour system:
Modifies the off-notes of potassium
chloride (KCl)
Enhances overall salty perception
Qualifies as "natural" globally
Contains no major allergens
Meets Kosher & Halal requirements
The Natural Flavour System allows Givaudan to offer flavours
with non-characterizing taste profiles, such as Natural Savoury
Base Flavour, as well as flavours with specific profiles and
characteristics. The TasteEssentials™ for Salt Reduction programme
utilizes an extensive range of capabilities and products to
create customized taste solutions for food manufacturers.
Application trials with the Natural Flavour System demonstrate
good results across a multitude of product applications, including
soups, bouillons, sauces, dressings, frozen ready meals, and
salty snacks.
